The ultimate in Professional Development

Join a motivated group of like-minded educators from New Zealand and Australia on an incredible trip to Space Camp USA!

You'll be participating in a custom programme designed by Haka Educational Tours and the US Space & Rocket Centre's education department. It includes simulated missions, SCUBA within the Underwater Astronaut Trainer, educator workshops and a rocket building challenge.

Our inaugural Space Camp Inspection Tour in 2019 was very well received. Participants had an incredible time and headed back to their classrooms equipped with an increased passion for their subject area, new teaching tools and unique experiences to relay to students. Many have gone on to book student group tours to Space Camp.

We will be re-launching our Space Inspection Tours for 2023, and dates will be launched soon (during June/July aiming for the NZ/AU school holidays). However if you wish to submit an expression of interest then contact us at [email protected]

the Inside Word

"Well today I had one of the greatest experiences ever, being commander of a Space Shuttle and getting to land it (safely) with the collective team work of the greatest group ever, team Destiny, and the support of my incredible pilot and right hand man, Alex. Having an absolute ball at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Have met an incredible group of people from the most diverse collection of nations and personalities that form a group of truly wonderful people and fellow educators. The world's students and future STEM graduates are in great hands if this group are any indication of the quality of STEM educators that are available around the globe. Go team Destiny - we will be champions!!"
