Join us on a captivating cultural tour to learn about the different aspects that make up and influence New Zealand’s unique culture that include the environment, young history and important traditions.

DAY ONE

Arriving early into Auckland you will head to Northland from the airport. Arriving into Waipoua Forest for a twilight tour to learn about the Maori legend of Tāne Mahuta.

DAY TWO

This morning you will have the chance to carve your own Maori pendant from bone with a local artisan. Then we travel onwards to spend the afternoon at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about the 'making' of the New Zealand nation.

DAY THREE

Spend the day travelling along the beautiful Northland coast. With stops at deserted beaches and temperate forests you will start to see some of the different diverse landscapes that this country is famous for.

DAY FOUR

Travel to Waitomo where you will take a boat tour through the spectacular glowworm grotto. Then head onwards to a local Maori Marae, where you will be spending the night, to partake in cultural activities and arts, learn about their history, listen to their fascinating stories and eat an authentic Hangi dinner.

DAY FIVE

Sadly it is time to say goodbye to your new Maori family. Travel onward to Rotorua for a jam packed day of activities. Visit the Agrodome and experience the thrilling Zorb.

DAY SIX

Today you will get to test your nerve and team work in the Original Canopy Tour. During your tour you will also learn about the conservation efforts happening in the area to protect the native trees and wildlife. Then in the afternoon take time to relax in the naturally heated pools in the Polynesian Spa.

DAY SEVEN

This morning take a self guided tour around the geothermal wonderland of Wai-O-Tapu. Then journey on to Taupo with a stop at the impressive Huka Falls, before enjoying your afternoon at the lakefront.

DAY EIGHT

An early start sees you on the journey down the North Island to Wellington. When you arrive you will take a guided tour of the Te Papa Museum to learn more about Maori heritage and see some of their interesting artifacts up close.

DAY NINE

Today is the last day of your tour. You will be dropped at the airport for your return flight home.
