In this 15 day art history tour of London, Paris, Florence and Rome students of all visual arts and/or social sciences disciplines will significantly develop their understanding of their subject area as they immerse themselves in some of the greatest arts and diverse cultural experiences Europe has on offer.

In London students will explore a range of galleries with works from many eras and artists. They’ll take in the vast collections of art in Paris and walk around the renaissance relics in Italy. The itinerary is packed with opportunities to view art history and culture first hand, develop creative and critical thinking skills as they make sense of their experiences and to communicate those ideas and learn from one another. It will truly be a life-changing educational experience.

Today you will take an international flight from Auckland airport.


On arrival into London you will be met at the airport by your Haka Educational Tour guide. Head in the city centre, check into your accommodation and take an evening walk around the Southbank area. If you have time you may be able to go up to the top of the Tate Modern for views over the city.


Spend the morning at the National Gallery exploring the collections of fine pieces of art.

Then take a walking tour of Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, including entrance to the Abbey.


Visit the Victoria & Albert Museum this morning to explore some of the world's rare artifacts. Then you will have time to visit either the Tate Britian or the British Museum.

Later in thee afternoon you will get to see some of the fine historic architecture in St Pancras. Then it is onwards to Paris, on an evening Eurostar train.


You will have the whole morning to explore the wonders inside the famous Louvre.

Then in the afternoon enjoy a walk around the Montmarte area, including a visit to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica.


This morning will be spent exploring the Orsay museum.

Then you have free time in the afternoon to explore some of the cities sites, before taking a dinner cruise along the Seine.


Today the group will take a day trip to Versailles. Explore the palace and garden grounds of the royal residence of France's historic kings.


Today is a free day at leisure for the group to take the cities monuments, galleries and explore the famous patisseries. In the evening you will take an overnight train to Florence.


On arrival into Florence you will get straight to exploring this city's top attractions.

Visit Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, Duomo St Maria del Fiore and the Palazzo Medici Riccardi.


Enjoy a morning walk up San Marco Monastery for views across the city.

Then visit the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio & Bascillia Santa Croce.


Today you travel to Rome and visit the Pantheon before a guided tour of the Colosseum, including Palatine and Roman Forum.

You will spend the evening at the Piazza Navona.
