Trip of a lifetime!

STEAM
July 2021
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) are everywhere and shape our everyday experiences, meaning STEAM education is vital and we need to encourage students to understand and embrace these core subject areas.
At Space Camp students are given the opportunity to realise their dreams and reach for the stars, pushing boundaries and understanding through various astronaut-esque training. Combined with time at the home of NASA, Kennedy Space Center, and two full days at Universal Studios, including a related educational programme, students will benefit enormously from the fun, engaging and varied environment throughout this tour.
This is a once in a lifetime experience for the students of Kowhai Intermediate School. They will be exposed to a whole new realm of learning which could in turn develop into an exciting and prosperous STEAM-based career, as well as creating those life long memories!
