DAY ONE

On arrival into Paris you will be given an initial orientation to the city with your guide.

DAY TWO

Today will be a full day of sightseeing in Paris for the group. Visit the Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.

DAY THREE

This morning you will travel to Ypres. Here you will visit the Menin Gate War Memorial, Le Quesnoy and Mouquet Farm Ypres. See first hand the sites where New Zealand and Australian Battalions fought.

DAY FOUR

Today you will head to Somme where you will visit the Crater of Lochnagar near La Boiselle. This is where the battle of Somme took place in 1916.

DAY FIVE

Today you will visit an ancient funk hole where you will feel like you are being shifted back into the 20th century. Today you will visit Pozieres, one of Somme’s famous Battlefields.

DAY SIX

Today you travel to Lille to experience the Australian National Memorial, Cathedral Notre-Damm d’Amiens and relax in the Jardin de Plantes.

DAY SEVEN

This morning visit the Franco-Australian Museum. The museum presents the unpublished story of war, memory and future through their richness of the collection. In the afternoon enjoy free time in St Quentin.

DAY EIGHT

Today you will partake in a Chemins d’Histoire Battlefield Tour.

DAY NINE

Today travel to Reims to take a quick sightseeing tour in the morning. In the evening you will enjoy the Mumm Champagne caves tour.

DAY TEN

Today you will see the Douaumont Ossuary first hand, popular for its craters and battle site. Then you will visit  the National Necropolis and the battle site PC Driant.

DAY ELEVEN

Your students will explore the remembrance sites in Verdun today and take a guided tour of the Mémorial de Verdun.

DAY TWELVE

Today is a travel day for the group. Fly from Paris to Istanbul in Turkey.

DAY THIRTEEN

Today you will experience the vibrant city of Istanbul. Explore the markets, wonder at the architecture and take a boat tour along the river. Later your students will travel to Gallipolli.

 

DAY Fourteen

Visit the historical location Gallipoli and the Anzac Cove. Learn about the integral part played by the Anzacs during the war at this famous site.

DAY Fifteen

As the last day of the tour you will transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
